Thanksgiving was quite a success this year. Thursday the three of us went to Piqua with some trepidation on how it would all work. It was the first time we have ventured out of northern Columbus. But everything went well and we all enjoyed the day!On Friday we had the Humphreys/Lavey crew down for Thanksgiving dinner. Ended up with two turkeys, one brined and the other on the spit. They both turned out great, but the brined one (which I also cooked breast side down for the first couple hours) was a major success. The breast meat was very moist and the dark meat was fully cooked, which is quite a challenge to get both done and not be reaching for more gravy every time you take a bite of white meat!

if you would have read it like i would have said it, you would have realized it was with a sarcastic tone like "oh, yeah, (roll of eyes, a whatever look on my face) brett you look good too (anohter roll of the eyes, whatever look on my face thinking "Lord, he always has to have teh attention" see, i was being the total opposite of kiss up! by the way, em, have you hooked up with the bachelor yet since he is single and in austin??!! hehehehehehehe!
Loved the photos of sleepy Daddy with little Emmaline. Ahh I miss those days. Looks like you guys had a very full holiday. As always, I loved the photos of the Zechman family get-togethers--always reminds me of a scene from a modern take on "Little Women." Thanks for the update.
PS Brett by 2088 their certainly won't be any money left in Social Security, so I guess we won't need the numbers by then anyway!
